Last week I was driving to a destination I hadn’t been to before. I entered the address into our trusty car navigation system, it happily accepted the details and off I went. After a couple of kilometres, the screen froze and the audio disappeared. Grrr – by that time I kind of knew where I was going and eventually managed to get there, albeit the awfully long way around. Coming to an intersection and not knowing which way to turn, well what an effortless lead-in to talking about decisions we make in relation to our lives.
When we reach a point in our life where we are not sure about which way to turn, there is one correct way, and that is to turn towards God. Turning to him is the way that will give us a fulfilled life, one with purpose and intent. The good news is, if we select the wrong turn, he is there, willing to guide us to him. Seek and ye shall find.
God, we thank you for being there for us, to show us the way, the truth, and the light. Amen
