Our life mission is living life in Jesus to the full, sharing this life gift with others.
We are a modern church with traditional Lutheran roots. Our worship services are relaxed with modern music. Rather than wearing a robe, our pastor normally leads worship in regular clothes, seeking to meet people where they are. Congregational members are involved in leading various parts of the service such as music, Bible readings, prayers and dramas.
Coming together for worship is a key part of our congregation’s life. Sunday worship focuses us on our creator and his word, on each other and on our ministries to others. Worship refreshes and renews us for the coming week and strengthens us in serving others in the community and sharing God’s message with them. We strive for our worship services to be open and inclusive, particularly for young people and newcomers. God has blessed us to be a blessing to others.
Meet Cheryl and Hans, some of our members
In 1985 we joined Good Shepherd and this has been our spiritual home ever since. Our children grew up in this faith community and we have made some lifelong friendships.
Worshipping on a regular basis, fellowshipping with others and being part of the different ministry groups (i.e. Prayer, Shed Night, Band and Ladies Connect Group) are a vital part of our walk with God.
We also love being part of the outreach ministries such as Bread Night and Breakfast Club.
