I opened the washing machine ready to get the clothes out to peg on the line and to my dismay saw white tissue confetti over everything. Someone (oops) had left a tissue in a pocket. 🙁
A single tissue mixed with water, an agitator and a spin dryer —> many tiny bits of tissue that ended up not only on the clothes but also in the machine, the washing basket and the concrete under the clothesline. It was remarkable just how far it spread – it reminded me in a weird kind of way of the loaves and fishes – something going a lot further than would reasonably be expected, except in my case it was not a positive outcome.
It is great that there are good things that help to balance out the bad in life and we can be part of that process. So, let’s aim to be the positive force in our community by sharing positive actions: kind words, good deeds, God’s love.
