For those golfers who walk the course, one of the pieces of golf equipment that you use is a golf buggy, otherwise known as a trolley. Your bag of clubs is secured onto the buggy and off you go, no heavy bag on your back. There are a wide range of buggies available, from the very basic through to luxury models, many of them have a rechargeable battery so that you only have to steer, not push, or pull your clubs around. Having a battery means you can conserve your energy for the important task of hitting a long straight ball (if only).
Once you have a buggy with a battery it is hard to do without it. The days when you accidentally leave your battery at home or have forgotten to recharge it – those days can be a slog. Golfing without your battery in your buggy is like living your life without faith; everything is harder and more tiring.
We know that God wants to take our load and to give us rest. When you give your heart to God you know you can rely on a fully charged battery
