Empty House

We were booked into to see Crowded House, one of my favourite bands, the tickets were a Christmas present and I was really looking forward to the show. We were meant to go this Thursday night but received an email today advising that the performance has to unavoidably  be postponed as Neil Finn tested positive to COVID. Of course, the show will be rescheduled and hopefully we will be available to go.

The best laid plans…………   There are so many things outside our control that can impact our daily lives.  If we want absolute certainty we know where we can find it.

God has told us that he will do certain things, and we know that what he says he will do, he will do. His plan is to return to earth, we don’t know when, we only know that it will be. I hope we are all prepared to meet our Lord and Saviour when that day comes.

Lord, we thank you for your Word and know that we can rely on it. Help us to share your words and love with others so that they too can be ready. Amen
