DebtsIt is awful to receive an overdue bill reminder. It means that either you have forgotten to pay your bill, you
can’t afford to pay it or your payment has gone astray. None of them good options, having all your debts settled is the best way to be. When Jesus paid our debt for us, he took the sins of the world on his shoulders. Because of this selfless sacrifice we are able to be forgiven for our sins – our sins are marked ‘paid in full’. Without that bill having been paid, we could never be ‘right’ with God and would always be burdened.Thankyou Lord, your sacrifice has given us a chance to live a life free from the burden of sin. Amen
