A puzzle ring is separate rings linked and woven together to make one larger ring. When I was a teenager (way back when…) I had a four-piece puzzle ring. I could separate the rings and put them back together in seconds flat with my eyes closed.
I was thrilled to receive a similar ring earlier this year and until last weekend it had remained all woven together. Sadly, I dropped it and the rings separated, (although still linked to each other). I was up for the challenge of weaving it back together, but after many frustrating attempts I searched on the internet for the method of getting it back together. It took several goes over the next few days until I finally felt the last ring fit easily and snugly into the puzzle. Those four rings all harmoniously in their spot. Hallelujah!
It makes me wonder whether God has a feeling of satisfaction and joy when his people all work harmoniously together. I think the answer is yes – how about you?
Lord, we thank you for your church and for the love and fellowship it creates. Amen
