They are shiny and red, sleek and smooth and last week I went for a ride on one of the new light-rail vehicles, a.k.a. trams. It really worked for me re timings and where I wanted to get to. We are lucky over this side having easy access to it, but there are things on the south side that we will never have over here; for example, the stunning view of the Brindabellas, particularly when approaching from the Parkway or Erindale Drive. That view is something that you can’t manufacture or buy.
Different locations have access to different things and whilst the split may not always seem equal or fair; that is just the way it is—life isn’t fair, we all know that. But before we go down that path let’s remember that the most important thing is that we all have total and equal access to God and his love. Postcodes are totally irrelevant; the thing that matters is our heart and our acceptance of Jesus us our saviour.
Lord, thank you for the blessings you surround us with, most particularly your love and availability. Help us to be open and ready to share your name with others. Amen
