DESCRIPTION:We have been fortunate to again snag a sausage sizzle at Tuggeranong Bunnings. It has been several years since we have been able to hold this successful fundraiser. We are required to have the sizzle from 8 am to 4 pm and to have at least four persons on duty all the time. \nWe therefore require quite a number of volunteers:\n– team captain\n– money collector\n– bread preparation\n– cook for the sausages & onions and\n– someone to hand food to customers.\nWe will go through requirements that ensure compliance with government COVID guidelines so that teams can be properly briefed. \nI will have a roster sheet at the Sunday services with 2 hour slots as well as reserves. \nWe are fortunate to have this date as it is a popular time for gardening etc and again to make our presence known in the community. If you cannot assist but would like to help out by donating money towards purchase of condiments\, drinks\, sausages etc please let me know. \nMany thanks in anticipation \nJudy (and Kevin) Temme

DESCRIPTION:Our next garage sale is two and a half weeks away\, so we all need to get our roller skates on to clear out any unwanted items.  I am sorry if I have confused a few – as mentioned on Sunday\, we had to bring the date forward as March is busy and a few of us are on holidays.\n \nAgain any bric-a-brac\, books\, kitchen items\, good quality clothing\, garden and outdoor items including plants etc. If anyone has large items like furniture\, please ring me beforehand.\n \nWe can only bring the items out of the container on Wednesday late afternoon and then organise all the items on tables on Thursday and Friday. If you have stuff to bring please only from the afternoon of Wednesday 24th onwards.\n \nI need volunteers to help me as below: \nWednesday from 3pm for any hour to carry trolleys and boxes from container – need a few men please!\nThursday and Friday from 9 am to 3 pm to start organising everything. We will be using the worship space like last year’s which was very successful.\nSaturday from 7.30 am onwards to carry some items outside and walk around the area and talk to people.\nVolunteers can stay as short or long as you like – I will be grateful for any help.\n \nWe will be using the Check in CBR app for those attending\, including helpers.\n \nIf anyone has any questions please let me know or ring.\n \nThank you\, \nJudy Temme

Presently\, if one is required\, it needs to be borrowed from elsewhere in the hospital. \nIn cooperation with Good Shepherd Community Church\, Ignite Driving is proud to be a major sponsor for the ABBA Trivia Night. The aim of the night is to raise funds for the Newborn Intensive Care Foundation and their current campaign\, Bubbles For Babies\, raising funds for an ECG machine (heart rate monitor) for NICU at Canberra Hospital. \nIt’s shaping up to be a fun night filled with lots of ABBA music and trivia. Come along and see how much you really know about ABBA. Lots of awesome prizes to be won\, including best dressed ABBA Band. \nSnacks provided (BYO too). Soft drink available for purchase; alcohol free event. \n7:00pm for a 7:15pm start. \nBring a friend or two! The event is open to the public\, so book now to avoid disappointment.
